Description:
Based in Cheshire, our client is an independent courier / distribution specialist that offers a range of direct delivery services throughout the UK. Their core business is same day delivery, transporting consignments from individual parcels to palletised loads, they have additionally successfully managed complex logistical solutions, designed to client specification.
As part of a planned expansion, our client has asked us to source an Area Sales Manager who’s remit will be new business development, account managing new clients as required. This will be a field based role, covering the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, commutable to the office in Cheshire.
After running a small, quality operation over the last few years, our client is now ready to expand, capitalising on their strength to date, utilising their experience for standard and bespoke transport / courier services.
Our client believes in rewarding and developing their team, for the right person, this role will offer the opportunity to work autonomously, taking advantage of your experience to date, additionally offering the chance to recruit and develop a team to manage moving forward.
Suitable applicants must have demonstrated success selling courier, freight or logistics services in a field based capacity. You must be a consultative team player who wishes to join and help develop a successful courier business.
