Account Manager, Courier Services

Description:

BOur client is an established and successful courier service based in Cheshire, specialising in UK direct courier / haulage business.  In line with expansion plans, we have been asked to source a business development manager / account manager, who’s focus will be new business development, developing and managing all new accounts.  Our client is open minded and is keen to look at fresh ideas which will diversify and expand the business, however the core service is direct delivery, courier services transporting parcels to palletised products throughout the UK.  

To be considered for the role, our client is seeking industry experience, you must have sold either UK or international courier, transport or consolidation delivery services.

Applicants much be self motivated, tenacious team players who enjoy a hands on, new business roles.  You must be happy presenting and negotiating at all levels, very happy account managing and capitalising on opportunities as they arise.  Our client is a great believer in supporting, developing and rewarding the team, helping you to achieve your goals.
