Job Title: Business Development Manager, Point of Sale / Merchandising Systems.

Our client is a highly successful design organisation that specialise in crafting quality point of sale / merchandising solutions that are representative of each customers needs.  They are a highly innovative design organisation that are proactively customer focussed, designing and manufacturing efficient and effective solutions, blending creativity with structural engineering.  Their specialist market is semi permanent metal and acrylic POS / POP units which are fixed or free standing.

In an effort to further capitalise on their strength in the UK market, our client is seeking to create a new role within the sales team.  This will be a new business development role, predominantly selling to brand owners, approaching and securing business, contract managing thereafter. 

Our client is seeking product and industry experience, a candidate who understands the intricacies of selling merchandising and point of sale solutions.  Suitable applicants will be hunters by nature, happy opening new doors and presenting at all levels, in addition to managing complex design briefs, liaising closely with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure they the brief is fully understood by all and delivered to client specification.

This is an office based role, visiting clients as required throughout the UK and Europe.  Suitable applicants must have merchandising / point of sale experience, be naturally tenacious and consultative team players at all levels.  You must have a strong attention to detail, be accustomed to managing complex projects, presenting prototypes and delivering projects to requirement.
