Job Title : Industrial / Structural Designer & Account Manager, POS / Merchandising Systems.

Our client is a highly successful design organisation that specialise in crafting quality point of sale / merchandising solutions that are representative of each customers needs.  They are a highly innovative design organisation that are proactively customer focussed, designing and manufacturing efficient and effective solutions, blending creativity with structural engineering.  Their specialist market is semi permanent metal and acrylic POS / POP units which are fixed or free standing.

In an effort to further capitalise on their strength in the UK market, our client is seeking to create a new role within the design team.  This role will incorporate a mixture of design and account management, taking each project from concept to delivery.  The role involves managing the full project, creating innovative design solutions to suit the client brief, presenting these to the client and assisting to win each contract, managing the manufacture through to delivery.

Suitable applicants must have point of sale design experience, be self motivated, self sufficient and happy working on your own initiative to create and manage complex solutions.  This role will involve managing costs & quotes as well as presenting designs at all levels.

This is an office based role, visiting clients as required throughout the UK and Europe.  Suitable applicants must have merchandising / point of sale experience, be naturally tenacious and consultative team players at all levels.  A strong attention to detail is essential, along with creative flare and enthusiasm for the industry.
