Web Developer C# / ASP.Net

Circa £25,000 to £30,000, negotiable depending upon experience

Our client is a highly successful specialist software developer.  This role is to join their established team of 3 in developing their product portfolio of web-based products to customer specification. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an ASP.Net / C# Web Developer with proven commercial experience to join a team, developing a growing suite of applications.

The chosen ASP.Net / C# Web Developer will take an active role in all aspects of the development process from gathering requirements, producing design documentation, writing code (both Client and Server side) and developing the SQL Server database.

Skills/ Experience needed for this ASP.Net / C# Web Developer role:

• Commercial experience using ASP.NET and C#
• Visual design background and the ability to produce attractive yet functional applications
• Ideally knowledge of ADO.NET, AJAX and MSSQL database technologies
• Sound understanding of .Net Framework 4.5 is ideal
• Experience using Infragistics UI controls would be beneficial
• Practical experience of WPF and WCF would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Team Foundation Server, WSS technologies, SSRS, VB6 and XML would all be an advantage
• You must hold or aspire to a good degree in software development including relational database modules
