Our client is a leading technology developer, selling integrated intelligent technology solutions World Wide based around software and electronics.  Over the years, our client has evolved with the market and has developed an enviable reputation for expertise, technical development, solutions and services offered.

As part of a planned expansion of the sales team, we have been asked to source a Sales Executive who will assist the team in converting enquiries, managing and developing existing customers and new business development, predominantly in the UK.

The role:

  • Mix of converting enquiries, managing and developing exiting accounts and sourcing new business.
  • Managing the full sales cycle from lead or enquiry to consultatively discussing customer requirements, presenting suitable solutions and closing, account managing thereafter.
  • Working closely with each customer and internal development and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered to specification, budget and agreed timings.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all customers
  • Develop larger corporate client opportunities in line with customer development requirements.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer and project information

Suitable Applicants:

  • Will have sold complex technology solutions, with electronic, sensor and software bias.
  • Be happy discussing and documenting complex customer requirements, quoting / tendering as appropriate.
  • Be happy with a mix of converting enquiries, account managing and new business development
  • Be a team player with a strong attention to detail
  • Will want to be part of the team based in Nottingham, visiting customers throughout the UK as required to discuss new projects.
  • Will need to be technically strong, happy working with software and electronic lead technology solutions.
